WE’RE BACK! We have missed you!
Both our clinic and the optical are now open for business!
On 04/27/2020, Governor Greg Abbott announced that it is time for patients to be able to be seen by their doctors. Therefore, we are once again seeing patients for all appointment types. If your appointment has been pushed back and you would like to come in sooner, please give us a call at 936.539.4500 and we will gladly see if we have something sooner available.
What to expect when you arrive.
Our physcians and staff are taking every precaution possible to protect our patients, staff and physicians. These safety protocols will be strictly enforced. If you are not comfortable with these guidelines, we will gladly reschedule your appointment for a later date.
Upon arrival, all patients are to check in with our COVID Screener. You will be asked a series of questions, as well as have your tempurature taken.
No one, including staff and physicans, will be allowed in the building if they have a tempurature of 100.4 or greater or if you do not pass the screening questions.
No guests or family members will be allowed in the building, except for caregivers and translators. Caregivers and translators will be expected to comply with the all protocols, as well as pass screenings.
All patients, caregivers and translators will be required to wear a mask, bandana or any type of facial covering while in the clinic.
Due to social distancing, if there is no space within the clinic, you may be asked to wait in your vehicle.
Certain areas of the waiting rooms are marked off to ensure social distancing. You will also see tape marks on the floor to guide you on the safe distance.
All surfaces will be santize after each patient.
Your health and safety is our top priority at Avery Eye Clinic. If you have any questions and/or concerns, please feel free to contact us at 936.539.4500.
